YouBall number one mission with our student-athletes is to give them the necessary mentorship, with designed programs tailored for each members success. We get results. The YouBall community we’ve established connects family’s from all walks of life, creating experiences that last a lifetime. 

JAHSHA BLUNTT PROGRAM COORDINATOR

A Los Angeles native and Fairfax High School alum, earned a basketball scholarship to Delaware State University (2003-2007), where he played for four years and helped the team secure its first-ever three league championships. He was also named back-to-back conference MVP during his time there. In his senior year, DSU reached the NCAA National Tournament for the first time in school history, competing against Duke in the first round. After obtaining a B.A. in Business Management/Marketing, Jahsha was inducted into the DSU Athletic Hall of Fame. Following a year in the NBA G-League, Jahsha had an 11-year professional basketball career in France, Romania, and Dubai. He achieved a championship in France and received the Guard of the Year award.  Since Jahsha retirement, he is dedicated to the YouBall Foundation mission. Being a key advisor with program strategy, and execution; thus aspiring student-athletes to elevate their potential on and off the court to the highest levels.

JOHNNY DANG HEALTH & WELLNESS

Johnny works as the Lead Strength and Conditioning coach. From Minneapolis Minnesota, with NASM Personal Training Certifications. Johnny took an interest in helping inner city youth with building a health, wellness, and nutritional guide fit for their' daily routine. During Youball practices and games, we look at athletes movement patterns to identify possible muscle imbalances, movement impairments or mobility limitations that they may exhibit during play. Performance and postural assessments are done to further confirm issues. Tailor their diet and emphasize the importance of  a consistent daily nutrition.  "Through practice, games or individual one on one sessions,  we work to improve movement and mobility issues, as well as building a solid foundation of nutrition, balance, strength and power"

BRIAN ALLEN PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

Brian Allen has been a Player Development Coach and Trainer for over 30 years In Los Angeles. He has mentored and trained a substantial amount of players that have gone on to the NBA, College, High School and young kids in their beginner stages. The commitment to excellence Brian has brought to the basketball arena is apparent in the countless players that have gone on to play at all levels. Brian also worked with Rico Hines coach of the Philadelphia 76ers, and helped train NBA Players in the summer. In closing Brian has been an inspiration to hundreds of players in Los Angeles and continues to bring his love for the game, expertise and guidance to our YouBall Foundation community.
